The club aims to support and guide undergraduate students pursuing a career in medicine by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities for education, networking, and community.
Anyone pursuing a career in medicine can join. To be eligible, you must join the HPAO canvas page and showcase dedication to pursing the pre-medicine path.
We host student panels, informational meetings, guest speaker sessions (including physicians and admissions experts), application workshops, mock interviews, MCAT strategy sessions, and social/community-building events.
We break down the medical school application process and offer support on key components like the AMCAS application, personal statements, extracurricular planning, and interview prep, all with guidance from peers and the Health Professions Advising Office.
To be a member, you will have to pay $10 dues a semester to help cover operating costs, food, and the cost of events.
General meetings are typically held biweekly starting September 7th, and will be every other Tuesday at 7:15. Workshop schedules will vary throughout the semester, and the executive board will have open office hours every Friday.
Our club focuses specifically on advising, academic planning, and building a support network to help members confidently navigate the pre-med track, especially in partnership with the campus Health Professions Advising Office.
